Lauren graduated from Middlesex University in 2014 with a First Class Honours (BA) Dance Studies. Prior to University she completed her A Levels and BTEC National Diploma in Dance and Performance Studies with Nicola Lloyd at Totton College.
Based in South East London, Lauren is a freelance artist; performing, choreographing and teaching. Lauren is a member of The Rebirth Network, a hip hop theatre company, where she works as a dancer and teacher. Performing credits with Rebirth include Street Dance XXL, World of Dance UK, Mad in France, Dancers Delight and most recently Breakin Convention. Lauren has also worked with NotetoSELF Dance Company in which she performed at festivals such as Resolution, Emerge and events with East London Dance.
Credits for independent performing and commercial work also include The Queen’s Coronation Concert 2013, Schwartzkopf Tour, Hype Coiffure Hair Show. Lauren also trains with Definitives dance crew, working in many styles and she recently performed with the company at Move it 2017.
Choreographically, Lauren collaborated with friend Ellie Harulow creating ‘Major Changes’ which premiered in 2015, and recently worked and choreographed with her mother Debbie Lee-Anthony for a duo performance at Resolution 2017. Lauren teaches dance regularly for various dance studios and schools in London, teaching children and adults and working towards shows with her students.
Lauren is passionate about being a versatile dancer and performer; having trained in contemporary techniques at University she has always had a passion for street dance styles and continues to train in all of these styles in order to grow and be an experimental and individual artist.
